Liebe Senioren\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Der Monat Juni bescherte uns ein paar Highlights mit durchwegs guter bis grossartiger Beteiligung: The Alex H\u00e4usler Prize, das Freundschaftstreffen mit Domat\/Ems, das Mars\/Venus Turnier mit unseren Ladies sowie die tolle Reise in die Romandie. Mehr dazu erf\u00e4hrt Ihr im heutigen Newsletter weiter unten.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ein Wermutstropfen war einmal mehr die Battle of the Kantons, welche wegen heftiger Gewitter abgebrochen und verschoben werden musste. Es verbleiben uns somit noch zwei Battle-Daten am 24. Juli und am 4. September. An diesen Daten ist geplant, die verschobenen Battles der Schwyzer und Luzerner nachzuholen. Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt\u2026..\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bereits zum 11. (!) Mal lud die Familie H\u00e4usler zu Ehren unseres unvergessenen Pastpresident Alex zum Turnier ein. Als Vertreter der Familie gaben sich Claudia H\u00e4usler und ihr Partner Urs St\u00f6ckl die Ehre und spielten auch aktiv mit. Zu Ehren von Alex zeigte sich sogar das Wetter von der freundlichen Seite, so dass einem erfolgreichen Golftag nichts im Wege stand. Jedenfalls fast nichts, denn der Zustand der Greens macht weiterhin Bauchweh\u2026\u2026\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Anl\u00e4sslich der Preisverteilung liess es sich Ian Park nicht nehmen, Claudia H\u00e4usler zu ihrem heutigen Brutto- und Nettosieg in der Kategorie Ladies \ud83d\ude42 mit einem Blumenstrauss zu gratulieren. Als weitere \u00dcberraschung \u00fcberreichte Claudia H\u00e4usler dem Letztplatzierten Ruedi Fahrni eine Flasche Wein. Ebenfalls eine Flasche Wein erhielten Captain Bruno und Vice Captain Ian f\u00fcr ihre grosse Arbeit. Zudem reichte Willy Villiger seinen Nearest-to-the-Pin Preis weiter an den Zweitplatzierten Urs Inderbitzin als Verdankung f\u00fcr seinen unerm\u00fcdlichen Einsatz hinter den Kulissen der Seniorenabteilung.<\/p>\n

      Zum Abschluss verdankte unser Captain Bruno nochmals das langj\u00e4hrige und grossz\u00fcgige Sponsoring der Familie H\u00e4usler, welches alles andere als selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ist. Claudia f\u00fchlte sich sichtlich wohl im Kreise der Senioren und stellte in Aussicht, auch n\u00e4chstes Jahr wieder mitzuspielen. Als Kr\u00f6nung des Abends wurden schliesslich auch noch s\u00e4mtliche Getr\u00e4nke \u00fcbernommen. Herzlichen Dank!<\/p>\n

      Bei strahlend sch\u00f6nem Wetter trafen sich 50 Senioren zum Freundschaftstreffen mit dem GC Domat\/Ems \u2013 dieses Jahr auf Grossarni. Gespielt wurde Four-Ball-Better-Ball in gemischten Teams. Nebst dem sch\u00f6nen Wetter erwarteten uns bestens gepflegte Fairways und sogar die Greens scheinen sich langsam wieder zu erholen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

      Zur Freude aller Teilnehmer wurde die Zwipf auf der Terrasse an Tischen serviert. Jamal gab sich pers\u00f6nlich sehr M\u00fche, damit alle die feinen Weissw\u00fcrste mit frischen Brezeln und erfrischendem (alkoholfreien) Weissbier geniessen konnten. Am Abend durften wir den herrlichen Sommerabend auf der Terrasse bei gutem Essen und Trinken und bester Stimmung verbringen. So soll es sein!<\/p>\n

      Nach der Begr\u00fcssung durch die beiden Senioren Captains Valentin Spescha und Bruno F\u00e4ssler f\u00fchrte unser neuer Vice Captain Michael F\u00f6ry als Premiere durch die Rangverk\u00fcndigung. Er amtete auch als Tagescaptain \u2013 gut gemacht Michael:-)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Eine besondere Tages-Leistung verdient Anerkennung: Urs Bopp und Karl Bachmann waren heute gleich zweimal im Einsatz. Zuerst nahmen sie am Freundschaftstreffen teil und erreichten mit dem 1. Rang (Urs Bopp), bzw. dem 6. Rang (Karl Bachmann) hervorragende Ergebnisse. Anschliessend ging es praktisch sofort zum Matchplay im Senioren Fourball gegen Ueli Fehlmann und Raoul Bussmann, f\u00fcr welches leider kein anderes Datum mehr zur Verf\u00fcgung stand. Trotz m\u00fcder Knochen gewannen Urs und Kari diese Ausmarchung nach 3 Stunden und 10 Minuten \u2013 Chapeau!\u00a0<\/p>\n

        Das Ladies Captain Team bescherte uns einen perfekten Golftag: wundersch\u00f6nes und nicht zu heisses\u00a0 Wetter, ein Kuchenb\u00fcffet mit Kaffee zur Zwischenverpflegung, einen herrlichen Sommerabend auf der Panorama-Terrasse, eine tolle Stimmung und viele zufriedene Gesichter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

        Es traten 11 Doppelteams der Ladies und 9 der Senioren im 4BBB Format an. Gespielt wurde je um die Netto-Teamwertung Venus und Mars sowie um die Gesamtwertung. Da die Ladies den Senioren anl\u00e4sslich der letzten beiden Austragungen den Meister gezeigt hatten war eine Revanche angesagt. Die Senioren gaben alles und konnten einen klaren Gesamtsieg verbuchen mit 258 zu 235 Nettopunkten (gewertet wurden die besten 6 Teams).<\/p>\n

Sie konnte es sich nicht verkneifen, den Senioren noch einen kleinen Wink auf den Weg zu geben: bitte lest die Ausschreibung besser, denn dort war noch ein Hinweis auf das Abend-Tenue\u2026..             Luzerner und Schwyzer Battle of the Kantons \u2013 26. Juni 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Nachdem die Schwyzer Battle am 22. Mai 2025 wegen schlechtem Wetter verschoben werden musste war heute eine Doppel-Battle der Luzerner und Schwyzer geplant. 42 Warriors standen am Start bereit f\u00fcr den frohen Golfstreit. Die Freude w\u00e4hrte allerdings nur kurz, denn schon ungef\u00e4hr eine Stunde nach Start musste das Turnier wegen erwarteter Gewitter unterbrochen werden. Das Gewitter war so heftig und die weiteren Aussichten so schlecht, dass nach gut einer halben Stunde der definitive Abbruch entschieden werden musste.\u00a0<\/p>\n

            Dank der Flexibilit\u00e4t von Restaurant und K\u00fcche konnte der Ap\u00e9ro und das Nachtessen vorgezogen werden, so dass wenigstens der kulinarische und gesellschaftliche Teil nicht zu kurz kam.             Montag, 23. Juni 2025<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

            Wie gewohnt diszipliniert trafen sich die 15 Teilnehmer der Reise in die Romandie auf dem Parkplatz des Golfplatztes K\u00fcssnacht ein, so dass unser Chauffeur Reto p\u00fcnktlich um 08.30 Uhr den Motor seines Busses anstellen konnte. Nach einem kurzen Kaffeehalt in der Autobahnrastst\u00e4tte Grauholz und einem Gewitterregen zwischen Moudon und Lausanne trafen wir planm\u00e4ssig im Golfclub Lausanne ein wo uns herrliches Wetter erwartete und uns auch den Rest des Tages begleiten sollte. Nach einem Teller Pasta ging es dann los auf dem wundersch\u00f6nen, aber nicht leicht zu spielenden,\u00a0 Par 72 Golfplatz. Gepflegte Fairways und Greens, eingerahmt durch alte Baumbest\u00e4nde, begleiteten uns w\u00e4hrend des ganzen Spiels. Es war ein herrliches Golferlebnis.<\/p>\n

                In einer dreiviertel st\u00fcndigen Fahrt ging es zum Golf de Vuissens in der Gemeinde Estavayer im Kanton Freiburg. Das Clubhaus und die Infrastruktur befinden sich in den historischen Geb\u00e4uden des Ch\u00e2teau de Vuissens, was der Anlage eine besondere Ambiance verleiht.<\/p>\n

                Der interessante Par 72 Platz liegt wundersch\u00f6n inmitten der Natur, ges\u00e4umt von W\u00e4ldern und einem nat\u00fcrlichen Fluss. Die Sonne schien den ganzen Tag und erm\u00f6glichte uns einen weiteren herrlichen Golftag.<\/p>\n

                    Am Abend gings mit der Metro erneut in die Altstadt von Lausanne wo wir im Restaurant Le Vieux Lausanne in gem\u00fctlicher Runde bestens verk\u00f6stigt wurden. Aus der gut best\u00fcckten Weinkarte wurde die eine oder andere Flasche degustiert. Der warme Sommerabend lud anschliessend noch zu einem Besuch der Aquatis Hotelbar auf dem Terrassenbereich ein.\u00a0<\/p>\n

                    Nach Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck und Check-out machten wir uns auf den Weg nach Les Bois im Jura, wo wir nach ca. anderthalb Stunden eintrafen. Es erwartete uns ein herrlich in die jurassische Landschaft eingebetteter Par 72 Platz mit perfekter Infrastruktur. <\/p>\n

                    Die Spieler der vier Flights gaben nochmals alles f\u00fcr einen guten Score, obwohl auch auf \u00fcber 1000 m \u00fc.M. der heisseste Tag des Monats deutlich sp\u00fcrbar war. Diszipliniert nach rund vier Stunden zwanzig trafen wir uns auf der Terrasse zu einem feinen Imbiss mit Salat und Spaghetti Aglio und Olio. Anschliessend f\u00fchrte Andr\u00e9 durch die Rangverk\u00fcndigung gefolgt von einem durch Urs Villiger offerierten Ap\u00e9ro.\u00a0<\/p>\n
